IMPORTANT POINTS TO CONSIDER:
  • #1-10:   these must be learned in any order.
  • #1-10:   you must be able to say the "Japanese name" of each.
  • #1-10:   you must demonstrate the "physical application" of each.
  • #5-10:   the first attack is a right side attack.
  • #1-4:     all stepping forward (omote) in front-stance.
  • #5-10:  all stepping backward (ura) in rooted stance.
  • #5: is a low block.  #6-7: are middle blocks.   #8-9-10:  are high blocks.
  • #8:       contains the only high counter-punch when stepping backward in fudo-dachi.
